Small shop. Serious standards.

01Why we started

Throwin’ Shade Customs started in a two-bay garage with one plotter, a heat gun and a bad opinion about cheap dyed film.

We had all seen the same thing: film bubbling after a summer, purple rear glass on three-year-old trucks, edges cut with a blade right against factory paint. So we built the shop we wished existed — computer-cut patterns, ceramic film only, and a bay clean enough that nothing lands between the glass and the adhesive.

Today we handle daily drivers, work trucks, weekend cars, houses and storefronts. Same standard on all of them: if we wouldn’t hand the keys back on our own vehicle, it doesn’t leave the bay.

02How we operate

Ceramic film only

No dyed film in the building. Nano-ceramic rejects heat without blocking cell, GPS or radio signal. We use professional-grade film that doesn't purple or bubble over time.

Plotter-cut precision

Your exact year, make and model pulled from a database of 20,000+ patterns and cut digitally. This means no razor blades near your paint, seals, or defroster lines.

Climate Controlled Bay

Dust is the enemy of tint. Our shop is climate-controlled and sealed to keep static and contamination out of the air while we work on your glass.

One car at a time

We schedule in blocks instead of stacking cars. This allows us to spend the extra 30 minutes on cleaning and inspection that high-volume shops skip.

Warranty you can use

Lifetime coverage on film against bubbling, peeling, cracking and color change. If it fails, we fix it—no questions asked.

Post-Install Inspection

Every window is checked under high-intensity LED light before you get the keys. If it's not perfect, we redo it before you even see it.
